Tuwa, officially known as the Republic of Tyva, is a republic located in southern Siberia within the Russian Federation. It occupies a position at the geographical center of Asia and shares international borders with Mongolia to the south.
The republic is bordered by several federal subjects of Russia, including the Altai Republic, Buryatia, Irkutsk Oblast, Khakassia, and Krasnoyarsk Krai. As of recent data, Tuva has a population of 336,651 people. The capital city is Kyzyl, which serves as the administrative center and houses more than one-third of the republic's total population.
