Oele is a village located in the municipality of Hengelo within the Dutch province of Overijssel. It is situated south-west of the city of Hengelo and lies to the south of the Twentekanaal waterway.
The village is positioned near major transportation routes, specifically the A35 highway and Provincial road 739 (N739). Historically, Oele was part of the richterambt Delden prior to the establishment of the current municipality of Hengelo.
