The napu, also known as the greater mouse-deer or greater Malay chevrotain, is a species of even-toed ungulate belonging to the family Tragulidae. It is primarily found in the tropical and subtropical regions of Southeast Asia.
This mammal inhabits moist lowland forests across various locations, including Sumatra, Borneo, and smaller islands in Indonesia and Malaysia. Its range also extends into southern Myanmar, southern Thailand, and peninsular Malaysia.
