Kefamenanu

Kefamenanu is a town and the capital of the North Central Timor Regency located in West Timor, Indonesia. It serves as the administrative center for the district of Kota Kefamenanu, which covers an area of 74 square kilometers.

The town is connected to Halilulik and Kota Atambua by a road to the northeast. According to census data, the population grew from 43,058 in 2010 to an estimated 49,673 by the end of 2024. Kefamenanu is notable for hosting the University of Timor, which is one of only two public universities located in the Indonesian portion of the island.
