Karita is a monotypic genus of dwarf spiders that contains the single species Karita paludosa. The genus was first described by A. V. Tanasevitch in 2007.
The species has been identified in several European countries, including Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Poland, Russia, and the United Kingdom.
