Boleng

Boleng is a town situated in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. It is located on the banks of the Siang River and serves as the headquarters for the newly created Siang District. The district was formed through the bifurcation of the West Siang and East Siang districts.

The town is positioned approximately 100 km from Pasighat in the East Siang district. The name of the surrounding district is derived from the Brahmaputra River, which is known locally as the Siang.
