Taliwang is a town and administrative district (kecamatan) located on the western coast of Sumbawa island in Indonesia. It serves as the regency seat of West Sumbawa Regency within the West Nusa Tenggara Province.
The town is the fifth largest urban center on the island of Sumbawa. According to census data, the population grew from 44,136 in 2010 to 55,340 in 2020, with an official estimate of approximately 60,205 residents as of mid-2024.
