Sumbawa Besar

Sumbawa Besar is a town and administrative district located on the Indonesian island of Sumbawa. Officially referred to as "Sumbawa," it serves as the administrative capital of the Sumbawa Regency within the province of West Nusa Tenggara.

The town is the second-largest settlement on the island, following the city of Bima. According to census data, its population was 56,337 in 2010 and reached 62,753 by 2020, with an official estimate of 64,936 as of mid-2024.
