Permas Jaya, officially known as Bandar Baru Permas Jaya, is a suburb located in Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. It serves as a residential area with a population of approximately 40,000 to 45,000 residents.
The suburb is connected to downtown Johor Bahru, Taman Sentosa, and Kampung Baru Bakar Batu via the Permas Jaya Bridge. Infrastructure improvements in the area include the completion of the Second Permas Jaya Bridge to alleviate traffic congestion and the opening of the Eastern Dispersal Link on April 1, 2012.
