Iskandar Puteri is a city and the administrative capital of the state of Johor, Malaysia. It is situated along the Straits of Johor at the southern end of the Malay Peninsula, making it the southernmost city of continental Eurasia.
The city is located within the Johor Bahru District, which is the second largest district in Malaysia by population. It is positioned adjacent to the cities of Johor Bahru and Pasir Gudang.
A notable characteristic of Iskandar Puteri is its industrial significance as the location of the Port of Tanjung Pelepas. This facility is ranked as the 15th busiest container port in the world.
