Dalam is an Indian action thriller film released in 2013. It was directed by B. Jeevan Reddy, who is a protégé of the noted Indian director Ram Gopal Varma. The film serves as Reddy's directorial debut and tells the story of a group of former naxals who struggle against police and politicians as they attempt to start their lives afresh after being released from jail.
The production was shot simultaneously in two languages: Telugu and Tamil. While the Telugu version was titled Dalam, the Tamil version was released under the title Koottam. The film features a cast including Naveen Chandra, Piaa Bajpai, Nassar, Abhimanyu Singh, and Kishore. The Telugu version premiered during the first week of August 15, 2013, while the Tamil version followed in 2014.
