Palaran is a district located in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. It serves as a residential and administrative area within the province, covering a total land area of 210.15 km2.
As of 2023, the district had a population of 66,912 residents. The seat of government for Palaran is situated in the village of Rawa Makmur.
