Jorong is a district located in the Tanah Laut Regency of South Kalimantan, Indonesia. The regency was officially established under Law Number 8 of 1965, which mandated the creation of the Tanah Laut, Tapin, and Tabalong Level II Regions.
The district encompasses a total land area of 697.84 km2. According to data from the 2020 Census, Jorong had a recorded population of 34,553 residents.
