Pemangkat is a coastal town and an administrative district (kecamatan) situated at the mouth of the Sambas River. It is located within the Sambas Regency of the West Kalimantan Province in Indonesia.
Positioned to the northwest of the provincial capital, Pontianak, the area serves as a significant local administrative center. As of mid-2025, the town had a population of 54,259 inhabitants.
