Tulungagung Regency is a regency (kabupaten) located in the East Java Province of Indonesia. It serves as an administrative division with its headquarters situated in the town of Tulungagung.
The region covers a total area of 1,144.53 km2. According to census data, the population was recorded at 990,159 in 2010 and grew to 1,089,775 by 2020, with an official estimate of 1,139,224 as of mid-2024.
