Tuban is a town located on the north coast of Java in Indonesia. It serves as the seat of Tuban Regency, situated approximately 100 km (62 mi) west of Surabaya, the capital of East Java.
The town covers an area of 21.29 km2 (8.22 sq mi) and had an officially estimated population of 88,025 in mid-2024. Tuban Regency is bordered by Lamongan Regency to the east, Bojonegoro Regency to the south, and Rembang Regency in Central Java to the west.
