The Săsar is a medium-sized river located in Maramureș County, Romania. It serves as a right tributary of the Lăpuș River and discharges into it at Bozânta Mare, situated southwest of Baia Mare.
The river flows through the cities of Baia Sprie and Baia Mare. It has a total length of 31 km (19 mi) and covers a basin size of 306 km² (118 sq mi).
