Patapan is a French Christmas carol written in the Burgundian dialect. It was composed by Bernard de la Monnoye (1641–1728) and first appeared in the publication Noël bourguignons in 1720.
The carol was later adapted into English for wider use. Its original title is "Guillô, pran ton tamborin."
