Kajaran is a town and the administrative center of the Kajaran Municipality located in the Syunik Province of southern Armenia. It is situated approximately 356 km south of the capital city, Yerevan.
The town is positioned 25 km west of the provincial center, Kapan, and lies about 50 km north of the border between Armenia and Iran.
