Dampit is an administrative district (kecamatan) located in the southern region of Malang Regency in East Java, Indonesia. It is situated approximately 36 kilometres southeast of the city of Malang and lies near the coast of the Indian Ocean.
As of the 2020 Census, Dampit had a total population of 127,129 residents. The mid-2024 estimate for the district's population is approximately 132,163.
