Rembang Regency is a regency located on the extreme northeast coast of Central Java Province on the island of Java in Indonesia. The region covers a total area of 1,036.70 km2.
The administrative capital of the regency is the town of Rembang. According to census data and official estimates, the population grew from 591,359 in 2010 to 645,333 in 2020, with a mid-2023 estimate of approximately 665,237 residents.
