Plawangan is a hill located in the Sleman Regency within the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. It is situated on the southern slopes of Gunung Merapi and sits above the town of Kaliurang.
Geographically, Plawangan is positioned to the east of Turgo, which is another hill located above the same town of Kaliurang.
