Juwana is an Indonesian career diplomat who held several significant international posts during his professional tenure. He served as the ambassador to Vietnam from 1992 to 1994 and subsequently served as the ambassador to China from 1994 to 1997.
A graduate of Gadjah Mada University, Juwana was stationed in various diplomatic missions across the globe. His career included postings in Phnom Penh, Singapore, New York, Paris, and Geneva.
