Klungkung

Klungkung Regency is the smallest regency (kabupaten) in the province of Bali, Indonesia. It covers a total area of 315 km² and had a recorded population of 223,720 according to the 2024 census.

The regency seat is located in the town of Semarapura. Klungkung is bordered by Bangli Regency to the north, Gianyar Regency to the west, and Karangasem Regency to the east. Its southern boundaries are formed by the Badung Strait and the Indian Ocean, while its eastern boundary meets the Lombok Strait.
