Gödöllő, officially known as the City of Gödöllő, is a city located in Pest County within the Budapest metropolitan area of Hungary. It is situated approximately 30 kilometers (20 miles) northeast from the outskirts of the capital city, Budapest.
The city has a population of 34,396 according to the 2010 census and is currently experiencing rapid growth. It is accessible from Budapest via both the suburban railway (HÉV) and the national railway (MÁV-START).
