Kelenföld is a neighborhood located in the southern part of Buda within Budapest, Hungary. It belongs to the Újbuda district and features a mix of architectural styles, ranging from older streets built during the first half of the 20th century around Bocskai út to the large Kelenföld housing estate constructed between 1967 and 1983 using pre-fabricated concrete blocks.
The area serves as a significant transportation hub, specifically through the Budapest-Kelenföld railway station. This location gained improved access to the city center in 2014 with the opening of Metro Line M4. Additionally, the neighborhood is home to the Kelenföld Power Station. Built in 1912, it was once the largest electrical generation plant in the world and currently serves as a tourist attraction noted for its Art Deco control room.
