Budafok is a neighborhood located in the southwestern part of Buda within Budapest, Hungary. It belongs to District XXII and is situated near the Danube river.
Historically, Budafok was an independent municipality until 1950. The area was traditionally known for its wine and champagne production. A notable landmark in the region is the Promontor palace, which was constructed by Prince Eugene of Savoy between the local vineyards.
