Ózd is a town located in the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county in northern Hungary. It is situated approximately 40 kilometers (25 miles) from Miskolc, which serves as the county seat.
The town holds the distinction of being the second largest municipality within its county. It is a notable geographical and administrative point in the region of northern Hungary.
