Gönc is a town located in the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county in northern Hungary. It is situated approximately 55 kilometers from the county capital, Miskolc.
The settlement holds the distinction of being the northernmost town in Hungary. Additionally, it is recognized as the second smallest town within its respective county.
