Kiskőrös is a town located in the Bács-Kiskun county of Hungary. It is geographically situated between the Danube and Tisza rivers at approximately 46°37′14″N 19°17′19″E.
The town is notable as the birthplace of Sándor Petőfi, who is recognized as the national poet of Hungary.
