Léogâne is a coastal commune located in Haiti within the Ouest Department. It serves as the namesake of the Léogâne Arrondissement and is situated approximately 30 km (19 mi) west of the national capital, Port-au-Prince.
The port town is recognized for its distinct cultural contributions to the arts, music, literature, cuisine, and architecture. Additionally, the area holds historical and archaeological significance, notably housing sites such as Fort Campan.
