Zmajevac is a settlement located in the Baranja region of Croatia. It falls under the administrative jurisdiction of the Kneževi Vinogradi municipality within the Osijek-Baranja County. The village currently has a population of 974 people.
The historical origins of Zmajevac date back to the Roman era, as it was founded on the site of the Roman colony known as Ad Novas. Historical records further note that the settlement was mentioned in 1246 under the name Verusmorth.
