Zlarin is a small island located off the Dalmatian coast of Croatia. It is situated near the mainland city of Šibenik and falls under the administrative jurisdiction of Šibenik-Knin County.
The island experiences significant seasonal population fluctuations based on the time of year. While it has a winter population of 284 residents, the number grows to approximately 1,500 people between March and October as many individuals relocate from Šibenik during the warmer months. Additionally, Zlarin is characterized by having a large expatriate community.
