Zaostrog is a tourist town and harbor situated along the Adriatic Sea in southern Dalmatia, Croatia. Geographically, it is positioned between the locations of Makarska and Ploče.
The settlement consists of two distinct areas: an older section nestled below a steep limestone portion of the Biokovo mountain range, and a newer coastal zone. Olive growing is a prominent agricultural activity in the region.
