Kloštar Ivanić is a settlement and surrounding municipality located in central Croatia within the Zagreb County. It is situated approximately 50 kilometres southeast of the city of Zagreb and 30 kilometres north of Sisak. The municipality is part of the Moslavina microregion and is positioned only 4 kilometres from the nearby town of Ivanić-Grad.
According to the 2011 census, the municipality consists of Kloštar Ivanić proper and ten surrounding villages with a total population of 6,091 inhabitants. The demographic composition of this area is predominantly ethnic Croat, who make up 97.2% of the population.
