Preko is a village and municipality located in Zadar County, Croatia. It is situated on the island of Ugljan in northern Dalmatia, positioned directly opposite the city of Zadar.
The old center of Preko features traditional Dalmatian architecture, characterized by numerous summer houses belonging to patrician families. As of the 2011 census, the municipality had a population of 3,805 inhabitants, of whom 88% identified as Croats.
