Novi Marof is a town situated in north-western Croatia within Varaždin County. It is geographically positioned south of the city of Varaždin and east of Ivanec.
The town serves as a transportation hub, located at the intersection of state roads D3 and D24. It is further connected to the regional infrastructure via highway A4, state road D22, and the R201 railway line.
