Vrginmost is a settlement located in central Croatia within the Sisak-Moslavina County. It serves as the seat of the Gvozd municipality, an area that was officially renamed from Vrginmost to Gvozd between 1996 and 2012.
The municipality is characterized as an underdeveloped region and is statistically classified by the Government of Croatia as a First Category Area of Special State Concern.
