Vrsar

Vrsar is a seaside village and municipality situated in the Istria region of western Croatia. It is located approximately 9 kilometers south of the town of Poreč.

The historical center of Vrsar is positioned atop a hill, featuring notable landmarks such as the St. Martin parish church and a bell tower standing 40 meters high. During the 20th century, the settlement expanded from this hilltop down into the surrounding areas.

Today, Vrsar serves as a popular summer destination characterized by its modern marina, private accommodation units, and large campsites. It is specifically known as the home of the Koversada Naturist Campsite, which is the oldest campsite in Istria.
