Omoa is a town and municipality situated in the Cortés Department of Honduras. It has a recorded population of 10,550 residents.
The municipality is located on the Caribbean Sea coast, specifically positioned on a small bay of the same name. It is situated approximately 18 km west of Puerto Cortés.
