Tsuen Wan is a town located in the western New Territories of Hong Kong. It is situated on a bay opposite Tsing Yi Island, across Rambler Channel. The area's modern city layout is centered around the Tsuen Wan station of the MTR.
The town originated as a market center developed from surrounding villages and fleets of fishing boats. Over time, its coastline was further extended through land reclamation projects.
