Tseung Kwan O New Town, commonly referred to as Tseung Kwan O, is one of the nine new towns located in Hong Kong. It is situated in the southeastern New Territories and was primarily constructed on reclaimed land in the northern half of Junk Bay.
The area derives its name from its geographical location within Junk Bay. As a planned new town, it serves as a significant residential and urban development site within the territory.
