Wong Tai Sin, also known as Huang Daxian, is a Chinese Taoist deity revered for his powers of healing. He is particularly popular in regions such as Hong Kong and Jinhua, Zhejiang.
The name Wong Tai Sin translates to the "Great Immortal Wong (Huang)," which represents the divine form of Huang Chuping, or Wong Cho Ping. Historically, he was a Taoist hermit who lived during the Eastern Jin dynasty in Jinhua.
