Mei Foo Sun Chuen, often referred to simply as Mei Foo, is a large private housing estate located in Lai Chi Kok, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It holds historical significance as the first large-scale private housing estate established in Hong Kong.
At the time of its completion, the 99-tower complex was recognized as the largest private housing development in the world. The project accommodated between 70,000 and 80,000 people across 13,521 apartments. It remains considered one of the world's largest privately financed residential condominium projects.
