Mei Foo Sun Chuen, commonly referred to as Mei Foo, is a large private housing estate located in Lai Chi Kok, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It holds historical significance as the first large-scale private housing estate developed in Hong Kong.
At the time of its completion, the complex was recognized as the largest private housing development in the world. The 99-tower project accommodated between 70,000 and 80,000 people across 13,521 apartments. It remains one of the world's largest privately financed residential condominium projects.
