Fort Wellington National Historic Site is a historic military fortification situated on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River at Prescott, Ontario. It was designated as a National Historic Site of Canada in January 1920.
The fort served as a military installation used by the British Army and the Canadian militia throughout most of the 19th century. The militia continued to utilize the site into the 20th century until 1923, at which point the property was transferred to the Dominion Parks Commission, the predecessor to Parks Canada.
