Manenggon was a concentration camp operated by the Japanese Imperial Army during the Japanese occupation of Guam in 1944. The site was situated along a 1.5-mile (2.4 km) stretch of the Ylig River, located near the town of Yona.
During the operation of the camp, over 10,000 native Chamorro people were forcibly marched to the location in rainy conditions. The captives were held at the site with very few resources for their survival.
