Santa Catarina Palopó is a municipality located in the Sololá department of Guatemala. It is situated on the shores of Lake Atitlán, positioned approximately 3 miles southeast of the popular tourist destination of Panajachel.
The municipality lies to the northwest of San Antonio Palopó. These three towns are linked by a single paved road that runs directly through Santa Catarina Palopó.
