Nebaj

Guatemala

Nebaj is an archaeological site belonging to the pre-Columbian Maya civilization. It is situated in the western highlands of Guatemala, specifically located near the Ixil village of Santa María Nebaj.

The site is notable for its historical significance in Maya archaeology. One of its most prominent discoveries is the Fenton Vase, an artifact excavated from the location that is currently held in the collection of the British Museum.
