San Martín Sacatepéquez is one of the 24 municipalities located in the department of Quetzaltenango in Guatemala. The town covers a total surface area of 100 square kilometres (39 sq mi).
The center of San Martín Sacatepéquez is situated at an elevation of 2,450 metres (8,040 ft) above mean sea level. According to the 2000 government survey, the municipality had a population of 28,926 inhabitants.
